Southern gold is tough to grade. This one is in a no-problem PCGS holder. Take a guess!

I learned from this forum that these were apparently often struck weakly, so I will guess EF(45).

Based on appearance alone, I'd have to say VF-30/35, but an EF grade seems more likely given your comments.

I'm at a VF-35, not due to the strike but from the visible circulation/wear. Love the coin by the way! I really need to spiral out and get at least once example of a Dahlonega minted coin.

Given what it is and where it came from: XF40. The way the market sometimes "grades" these pieces an AU50 grade would be no shock whatsoever.

I'd also say VF-35.

VF35 looks like an old old cleaning but I guess it doesn't matter since she's in a straight holder

Seems like a very fair grade for that piece. It is not obviously overgraded as some "C&D" mint gold clearly are.
