Found this today - the coin is in rough shape and appears a bit off center. But the "Oak" is so light and so is the "E" in "The" I'm wondering if there is something more than PMD.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

-GB

Reverse looks misaligned die and the weak lettering in the ** the...oak ** is struck thru grease.

2 to 3% off center. I agree with the Struck Through Grease on reverse. Nice die gouge on Reverse on the "C"

It looks like a deep scratch to me.

Thank you! Also I double checked the "C" and Chase007 is right, it's a deep scratch, but I could see based on the picture why you would think its a die gouge. Just a bad light angle though.
Thanks again!
I think its an interesting enough find to keep.
