I suggest waiting a couple of years. These sets will invariably be dumped on ebay in the future for dimes on the dollar. |

Yeah that one. The dimes cost 205 at the time with gold ~1250/oz. With a mintage of 125k, I really thought they'd settle closer to spot. Also didn't count on spot going up so much.

I picked up mine last year, I got it for $225. Its a nice coin the other 2 are on my list with a lot of other coins.   |

1/10 an ounce of 99.9% pure gold for $225 is not too bad.

I was lucky and my local coin dealer said he would sell me the 1/2 oz Gold Walking Liberty for melt (melt at the time was $2000) it did have a small little imperfection on on the face but cant complain about it too much. I still want to find the Gold Mercury dime though. |
