I was fortunate as well to get the half for melt way back in 2017. Interesting since that is the lowest mintage of the 3

Yeah I should have bought them years ago. But sometimes you win some and you lose some.

I'd like to hear some new news on these soon. I don't like the silence as of late.

How about a rerelease of the Oregon Trail half in 2026?

Quote: Is the idea to strike a new 2021 Peace dollar and/or restrike a 1921 Peace dollar? New 2021 dated dollars using the original design. New hubs will probably be made from scratch like ones for the 1921 Morgan dollars were.

You think the Chinese are going to flood the market with fake 1921 and 2021 Peace dollars?

I am not going to speculate.

The US Mint found the original 1964 dies for the Peace dollar, they might use that as starting point. For the Peace at least.

I would really like to have a set of 2021 Peace and Morgan dollars but if they are made, I bet they'll cost a lot right out the gate. Quote: How about a rerelease of the Oregon Trail half in 2026? I think it would be neat if they did that with all the commemorative halves as the 100th anniversary rolled around but we already missed Lincoln. Probably some themes would be frowned upon though these days. (No political comments should follow please!)

Quote: I do not think they can change the date on the dies without looking a mess They could use the 1964 to copy the design but since it's going to be in high relief, I doubt the 1964 will work.
