@CelticKnot - The 2021 Silver Eagles are in a different size box than these new Morgans. Would be nice if they standardized the size to make them easier to store.

Yes, EDM. Beautiful modern higher relief rendition without the metal flow problems of the 1921 very high relief or the the mushy low relief of the 1922-1935 coins. The 2021 Peace most shows the improvements in minting technology of the past 100 years, versus the Morgans. Looking forward to buying a 2022 Peace dollar.

Somebody get a micrometer and measure the design thickness of the 2021 Peace dollar. The US Mint says it is not high relief as the 1921, it's made with modern commemorative specs. Maybe the 2021 Peace is higher relief than later years? The 2021 Peace sure look nice IMO. https://www.usmint.gov/news/inside-...lver-dollars

I keep getting alerts that PEACE should be here today... but I just clicked the tracking # and it says "Your item arrived at our USPS facility in KNOXVILLE TN DISTRIBUTION CENTER on November 2, 2021"........ um... that is no where near Massachusetts...

It happens. Arrival times are estimates if all goes perfect. Computer says estimated arrival but actually a package got sorted wrong amd sent to wrong direction or hasn't been moved on yet. Sometimes tracking won't say where the package is, then you wake up in the morning and it's in your city distribution center. Nothing you can do but wait and hope it comes soon. Since it's in Knoxville it has left the Memphis distribution center and is on the way. If it doesn't show up in a week, contact them.

Quote: @CelticKnot - The 2021 Silver Eagles are in a different size box than these new Morgans. Would be nice if they standardized the size to make them easier to store. Right, I see your point. The 2021 Eagles are in the same size box as they have come in for the past several years. Morgans and Peaces are (obviously) not Eagles and have a different coin size. To me they are more like commemoratives than ASEs, so it makes sense to me to be in a commemorative-sized box.

Finally got the last of my orders Morgan and Peace dollars yesterday. A day ahead of the scheduled delivery. I had an open capsule with one of my Peace dollar and it was moving around in the box. The first and only open capsule. Looking at the coin under the magnifying glass, I did not see any issues, thankfully. So the final tally is I received all my coins without any damages to the coins. Now time to relax for a few days until Monday, my next enrollment order.

Quote: To me they are more like commemoratives than ASEs, so it makes sense to me to be in a commemorative-sized box. Commemorative dollar coins are made the same size as all large dollar coins 38.1mm. This includes the older Morgans, Peace dollars, Ikes, and current Peace dollar and Morgans. Commems would know more about this than me.

The quote of a quote above leads me to re-ask a question that I never got an answer to:
Are these Morgan and Peace coins COMMEMORATIVES or "actual" coins, as in a continuance of the original series?

Maybe fence riding here, but can't they be both commems and legal tender continuations? Maybe 75% commems, 25% legal tender continuations?

I would have to say commemorative, not a continuation. Reason is because they are limited mintage, not intended for circulation and are being produced in commemoration of the 100th anniversary, not as an intended medium of exchange.
