This is why I had 0 qualms buying multiples of the coins when they went on sale. Fortunately, none of the coins I got had major mint damage that I'm unfortunately seeing on this forum. However, was nice to pick out the ones that seemed to have the least imperfections out of the others to keep in the collection. Was able to sell the remaining ones off relatively quickly which essentially paid for the ones I kept after all was said and done.

I used to feel it wasn't morale to try and buy multiples of limited release items the mint had, but those feelings went away after the 2019 S-ERP. Why should I care when so many more didn't. There were probably more coins for sale on ebay than in collectors hands. I look at itthis way, I buy what I want and if there is profit potential why not make some. Use the rules as your advantage. Figure out to use the system to your advantage. When coins that I want go up for sale at the mint (it's honestly very few itens) use every available option presented to you. After you get what you purchased feel free to sell the extras for profit or keep the best for you, when you eventually sale or your heirs sale no one is going to look at the coin and say "I can't buy this 2019-S ERP as it's tainted, the seller used "improper" methods to get it"

I'd like to think, The rules are in place to provide others with the chance and Means to have, Exactly what Other's did NOT do, Advertising that You served Yourself with the Broken rules and sold the rest, to another collector ? WOW, Self serving, Greedy, and Your proud !!!!! ........ We ALL do NOT follow Your Rules, Thank GOD !!!! PS, Did you sell or Keep the coins you received that had less than Perfect finishes ? I bet you Sold them .!!!! People are driven by their Own Greed to achieve, What the Rules are in Place, to Avoid !!!! Brings Coin Collecting to below a Certain Level..... Sad Too How many members did NOT get to order a Coin? Too Many, IMO.

I, myself, only bought one of each of the 2021 Morgan dollars, but 2 of the Peace dollars by mistake. During the big buy from the mint I, (as all of had), problems with all the errors on the Mints website. By using several open browsers, and clicking on the 'add to bag' link The website saw 2 clicks. Finally by the time I got to check-out I noticed that there were 3 coins in the bag. Didn't want 2 but I did not want to risk losing everything by trying to eliminate one from the bag, so I just bought all of them. They are going to get graded (hoping heavily that they are not damaged) and then sell off one Peace dollar, as I don't want or need 2 of them. AS it is, I only collect for my own pleasure and have absolutely nobody to give my extensive collection to. I'm not sure what is to become of it when I enter my silver years (which is not that far off). If I don't need to sell it off to fund my retirement, I may seal it up and bury it somewhere and create a 'treasure map' and leave the map for folks to find and then hunt down my buried treasure..

The infamous 666, through the centuries has been identified as Nero, the Pope by Reformation leaders, Ronald Wilson Reagan, a future world leader, micro chips in the Covid vaccine so the beast can control us and other crazy conspiracy theories. My uncle was a pastor and his home address was 666! I noticed on Facebook US Mint responded to a collector who got damaged Morgan. The Mint says they will be posting a message about this in the coming days.

I don't care for Facebook but my wife enjoys it. Sometimes when she's on she lets me look around and I go to the US Mint page. I'll watch for any more news about damaged Morgans and post here if I see something.

Good to find out I am not alone. I'm also watching a pot on the stove, waiting for it to boil. I am certain I'll see boiling water. I'm still putting odds at 50/50 about the shipment
