Hi everyone. Is there a website where we can see videos of the actual minting of a coin. I believe there are a lot of us new collectors who have not seen the process (especially those who lives on foreign countries and who will never have a chance to visit a minting company). It would also be fun and educational to learn at what stage a variety is formed or an error is prone to occur during the production stage. Right now we learn of the process thru reading and other sources in the internet. It would surely be fun to see actual footage or videos of the process. Thank you
This one I found interesting. It is from the History channel. There are some advertisements on it, so don't be surprised when they come up. They usually show up at the first of segments on the videos. http://www.history.com/video.do?nam...d=1614615847
Thanks coop. The video was a short one, 4mts 13sec but very informative for me being a novice. It is a must see for young collectors. This is the first time I've seen the actual process and the website. Regards
