Is there supposed to be two buttonholes on Lincoln's jacket on the 2009 D Lincoln Cent? I know there is one towards the edge of the lapel but I'm curious about the one under his bowtie.

I would normally assume PMD as well but it is lifted like a die break as well as from an Uncirculated roll. So can it certainly be PMD?

to the CCF!

The terminology you used is correct. Lincoln's lapel does in fact have a single button hole as part of the design. The second mark is just a contact mark from another coin and the shape and size of the mark does look like a second button hole.

I'm not sure why this was called into question.
