MrBreeze Valued Member United States 357 Posts	Posted 10/06/2020 6:14 pm Ok - so I have seen posts that are determined to be a "vise job". Is this what I have here or is it an error? The things that I noted were - Both semicircles seem to match a penny - It appears that the lower smaller semicircle has indentations that potential match the column spacing from the memorial above? - There appears to be a number 8 and another number in the "C" of cent - The edge thickness is different in the areas affected - Stress cracking on obverse in area affected So what do you think? vise job? Ps - John1 - I have noticed your "nudging" for a 100 post contest. At first I was wondering what you were talking about, but have since figured it out.
