Does anybody know if this is a very common die crack? Have many people come across this die crack variety? Any input is welcome! Thanks!

I can't say I've ever seen one like that.

The crack makes it look like Jefferson is sporting one of those "Nose to Ear Chains" How hip! haha

Anyways, the pictured nickel came from a BU roll where I found a few more with the same exact die crack.

to the CCF!

I'm not sure if it's a die crack or a die scratch that has some flaking along the edges. It's an interesting coin!

Can't say it's rare but not totally uncommon. My first thought that came to mind after seeing yours was a War Nickel.

Interest you have several in a BU roll, probably from the same die.

Does anybody know a good repository for die cracks? I've checked on cuds-on-coins and didn't find anything matching this crack. Going to dub it the "Jefferson Nose Chain" lol
