The obverse is lacking a bit in detail, but I can't tell if this is a case of a worn die, or circulation wear. Somebody more familiar with these types will probably comment with a better answer. The hair is really detailed up close, but the rest of the bust is kind of worn. I would assume it was just a weak strike. I would be curious as to what NGC would say but I don't want to spend $30 on this coin. Report this Post to the Staff
