jedichef Pillar of the Community United States 781 Posts	Posted 05/02/2010 1:00 pm i usually pull about $4.50 in coppers. I average about 12-15 wheats. i'll probably put my coppers up on craigslist. I sold 100 rolls for $75.00 Yeah, I realize the margin is terrible, but I wasn't going to do anything else with them anyways. I may try putting a box or two of coppers on ebay. maybe i'll have better luck. Report this Post to the Staff

I never seen anything like this before. its a 1996 d, the odd thing is it even feels thinner then the normal planchet of a penny. anyhow I thought it was pretty cool to share. A $100 box of coppers sold on ebay this weekend for $140 so there is a slight premium. who knows what the future holds. My real enjoy comes from finding wheats and really nice BUs of most dates. I bought $200 face Canadian the other day (for my wife), mixed denominations. Found 4 silver dimes, 2 silver halves, 20 or so King George cents and 2 of the above pictured cents. And my wife filled like 5 holes in her quarter type set. All the roles were from random places... Some were stamped "St Mary Magdalene Parish" I was very excited about those. I live about 9 miles from Canada, and we get Canadian coins in change, but I can't buy Canadian change at the bank. I'd love to get a box of Canadian cents, as that's mainly what I collect.
