Quote: Hello Everyone, First time posting. I think I have something interesting, I found searching through some bank rolls. It appears to be a possible double die. I hope the pics show up ok. 1990D, look to left of L I & B of liberty and the right of the date 90. What do you think of this.
Thanks
to the forum olaf424 It is a split in the plating or Plating Split Doubling. This is considered damage and nothing more.

WOOOOHOOOOO...found ANOTHER proof just now! Not really worth anything other than the thrill of finding a proof. This poor guy has seen some circulation, but it's still cool: Now, tell me why after 100 boxes why I can't find a blasted 2000 WAM!?

The 82 proofs are 95% copper, 5% zinc.

BadThad; I've yet to find any proofs, or an IHC. I'm sure the Indian is a little bit harder though. In the last year I've found (8) '98 & 2000's (total). Still looking for the 1999. Your time will come.

I just realized that I had found a 1977S a couple years ago when I first started collecting. I didnt even know it was a proof then. I just pulled out my stack of S mints and seen it tonight, lol. Its worse off then your 82S by a long shot :)

Cool find. I'm still waiting for a proof Linc... I've found 2 IHCs, and a proof Jefferson (I probably search 20x as many cents as nickels), but I'm still waiting for that find...

I pulled a 1909, 2 indians (1906, 1907) and a VERY WORN flying eagle (no date), from 10 rolls the other day. This is my first flying eagle.

yeah, I plopped down 5 bucks, asked for all pennies...the teller gave me a skeptical look. I promised I wouldn't be redepositing them with her. she laughed and gave me 10 rolls.
