see there is a small chunk of metal over the top of what I believe is a 6
anyone have any info on this is it good to set aside somewhere
its hard to get good photos but ill try again if needed

I went into a bank today looking for half dollars, but since they didn't have any I figured I pickup $2 in pennies to go through quickly. Well, I was handed 4 rolls of some really shiny 2010-D Shield Cents! I'm certainly going to keep a couple of these along with the 2008 and 2009 rolls I've received.

Great find Chuckster! I get cross-eyed looking for wavy steps and have given up. That, however is one of the reasons to look hard at the Memorial. Thx for sharing,

45 rolls into a really fun box - saving last 5 rolls for my wife as they all have wheats on the ends and its my trick to get her to roll search with me. LOL.
Through the first 45 rolls - only 218 non-coppers, so well over 90% copper in the box.

I have about 3 full rolls of Canadians now - I need to get a folder and see which ones I might be missing.....this box surely filled a bunch of holes. Any info on the 1867-1967 cent?
All in all - its been a fun box. I'll take the last 5 rolls home for my wife to have fun with.

Now that's a box. I'm curious, though, if you are taking 5 rolls home to your wife where are you doing your roll searching? I'm thinking that afcop stands for a Florida police officer, if so, you doing these between arrests?

A special reverse side, depicting a rock dove, was issued in 1967 as part of a Centennial commemoration. There were a lot of these 1967 commemorative pennies minted.
In circulated condition, it has no added value.
In 1967, the year of Canada's centennial, Canada issued commemorative coins for all its regular coins, from the 1c to the $1.
The 1 cent piece depicts a dove, and today is the only 1967 Canadian coin that can still be found in change with some regularity.
So, yes, it is basically worth a cent. Since millions were made, the value is not likely to go up much anytime soon. In bulk, brand new 1967 1c coins usually have a wholesale value of 10 cents.
Nonetheless....I have several of these as well .....and a bunch of "regular" Canadian Cents too ! .....I'm also looking to get a folder to start putting them in ! .....

Afcop13 and eaglefoot, let me know when you get your folders and start working on your Canadian small cent collections. My collection is pretty far along, and we get a lot of Canadian cents here, so I see many duplicates. I would probably be able to help you both out.

Jim - I'm retired from the Air Force, where I was a cop. I roll search at lunch while working my civilian job these days. I've been going through this box since Tuesday.
