I just found my first 2010. Amazingly enough it's a D. I had the hardest time finding the 2009 Ds in Michigan, so it's odd that my first 2010 is a D.

canadian isn't really impressive but maybe thats just because I'm in buffalo NY so I can through a stone and hit the lame country hahah
but really the only ones I keep are from pre 1964
those are the ones that have a smaller picture of the queen on them
the king george's are very nice too those are pre 53 if I am remembering correct
the coin with the dove is like the bicentenial coins here in the states
I have a whole set of canadain pennies from the first year king george pennies were made which may have been 37 up until 2010
then 3 rolls of extra pre 64 and KG pennies
the only other thing you guys might wanna keep the canadians for is the copper since they were mainly copper like our coins for many years (dont really remember the last year)
but yeah toss the funny money back where you found it hahah not worth a lick of time if its modern

Yeah - I just don't see that much Canadian down here in FL, so I keep all of my foreigns in a jar. Most boxes here have more Bahamas pennies than Canadians. LOL.

afcop,
Where were you stationed? I was in AF 1974/78. Primarily stationed at Ellsworth.

Well, maybe things are picking up. After finding that blank planchet, the next box had 19 wheats. Nothing old, the oldest being 1942, but at least the numbers are up.

I saw that 1955 and and put a smile on my face even though its not the dbl but its my first one and I have an affection for the 1960's pennys it seems to me that the details are more pronounced then the other years

Just finished a decent little box last night. Along with these, I found a few from the 20's and 30's, several from the 40's.

I especially like the '13-S.

Scooby,

I mean

WOW, all form one roll. Makes you wonder if it was a coin jar or the over run from someone's collection that was turned in. Either way, that is amazing.
