SKUNKED! WOW! I can't believe my latest box of pennies did not produce a SINGLE Wheatie! Oldest coin in the box was a 1959. Copper penny content really seems to be dwindling as well - down to about 15% of the rolls. Did land 6 Canadian pennies though - oldest of which was a 1972.

I picked up a box from Wells Fargo and it looked like a very new box. Sometimes the boxes look a little scuffed. Of course I was excited. Upon opening it I found loads of bright shiny 2011D pennies, mixed with a few older cents in every...single...roll. Doh! I would have loved complete rolls of 2011. I'm going to make a few rolls and dump the rest. Sorry for the bad color on the picture.

Got 8 dollars in CWRs today.I have got one roll down and found a Canadian cent with a dove on it. How common are these? As I have no knowledge of Canadian currency.

D-MAN They are rare but not that rare and carry a small premium if sold right. (http://cgi.ebay.com/1867-1967-Canad..._2823wt_936) I have found one.

I generally don't search while I'm sorting. I get to go back and look through tubes and rolls of stuff when I do search.

I had about 20 2009P LP2 (I don't get a lot of Phillys ) that where nice enough to pull and decided to look for the extra finger.

First cent looked at!! and of course nothing after that

I searched through $25 in CWR today and they yielded the following:

*3 clad Roosevelts
*15 Wheats (Oldest was 1948)
*23 Canadians (Including a '64 and a Centennial one from '67)

But the real treat was when I was dumping the coins. I looked down and I saw a very corroded reverse with "One Cent" and a wreath around it, I pick it up and it turns out it was my first Indian Head from circulation. I had to clean it up a bit to see what the date was, and based on observation, it's a 1902. This is now the oldest cent I've found in circulation and the oldest coin I've found, beating out a 1908 Liberty Head nickel.

dMAN, don't blame ya, and I don't really think there is much collector value...just the cool factor.
Cool find on the IHC SilverRoosevelt...my best find on dimes was 29 in a $50 bag of cents...coin counter must have had a bad day
