I did a fed box of pennies this week. About a dozen common wheaties, 7 Canadians, 2 log cabins, one very dirty looking log splitter (hardly even worth keeping and might win a competition for the dirtiest log splitter out there). I also had a small Jamacian one dollar coin which appears to be hexagonal or octagonal (I forget which off the top of my head). I also had a 1970 Bermuda penny (the ones with the hog). This is my third one of these.

you people are not helping me at all! I started here simply searching for wheaties...and now I see this! Not to mention the fact that I'm now looking for WAMs and CAMs...and 1990-D's...and small-dates....and large dates!.... I'm gonna need new glasses now....

I bought ten rolls of cents today and the most exciting thing I found was a 2009-d log cabin cent. I shouldn't complain, though. It could be worse. We'll see what I find tomorrow.

Scotty, stay around here and it will get worse! I decided to retire in June, partly so I have more time for roll searching. With copper going up and pre 82 cents at almost 2 cents melt value now my copper hoard is at 1000 rolls. There are so many GOOD reasons to roll search that I don't waste my time with things like watching the news,or talking to my family(only kidding) because there are coins out there to be rescued.

Watching the news or TV in general is a complete waste of time IMO. When I have free time..... roll searching or anything to do with coin collecting is constructive time, not wasted time.
