Finally finished the second box. It was much better than the first! I found 43 wheats, including my oldest - a 1909 , and a 1919. Also 15 Canadian pennies, and some pretty shiny ones from the 60's again. Out of a $25 box less than 100 pennies were newer than 1982. Here are some pictures.

If you're interested, here is a list of the wheats I found. If not, skip to the pics.

1909, 1919, 1925, 1938, 1939 x2, 1940s, 1941 x3, 1941s, 1942 x2, 1944 x5, 1944s, 1945 x3, 1945s, 1946, 1950, 1950d, 1951 x2, 1951d, 1952s, 1953, 1953d x2, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1956d x2, 1957d x4, and a 1958.

Group Shot of 41 of the wheats.

Number 42 and 43 of the wheats that I forgot to put in the group shot.

Nice finds, especially the 1909...those are very tough to find in circulation.

Just to help you with your terminology, in numismatic speak:

front = obverse
back = reverse

99 and 95 years old...

Cool-Lincoln-Roll-Finds-From-Bank-Rolls----Post-Yours!

Found these two last night. While making a deposit at my company bank, I found out that somebody had turned in $9 worth of rolled cents. Ended up with about 10 other '40's and '50's too.

found another 1998 Wide AM. almost didnt check it b.c it was real cruddy. I also think I might have found a new DDR on the formative year penny. its kinda like 1dr-37 on coppercoins but different. It extends past the thumb a good ways. I dont have a camera with me or I would post pics.

I just started roll hunting and got my first $5 worth of pennies. I found a 1908 Indian Head cent - first Indian Head cent I have ever held.

Its good to have beginners luck!

Isn't this coin supposed to be "sliver" in color?

Seems someone had some extra copper-paint, and decided to have a bit of fun with it.

Found another counterstamp yesterday too.
