Just finished off a pretty peculiar box of pennies tonight, only one Wheat penny a 47D, but found about 3-4 LP3's, 6 LP2's and THIS: From left to right the front BU rows start with a 1959-D, 61D, 62D, 63/63D, 64, 67, 68S/68D, 69/69S All looking like they rolled outta the mint yesterday! Pretty neat box when you never knew if the BU's were gonna be an 08 or a 68!

New to this forum, been roll searching for a while.
Had an interesting box today, I found about 20 of the 2009 pennies
AND, a 5 reichspfennig from 1940. Took me about 20 minutes to find out what it was, the thing is pretty beat up. But I thought it was an interesting find.

I searched 1 box today, 23% copper (pre 1982). Only 12 Wheat Pennies, 1942 was the oldest. Picking up another tomorrow. Hopefully withe some better luck. =)

I hope this is the right place to post this. Here is what I found in my first box of pennies last week. Most of the entire box were pennies from the 1990s and newer. But I did find one Wheat penny from 1925. I didn't find anything until the last five rolls or so. I was disappointed and about to forget it and just return the box for a different one. I'm glad I just finished the box instead! This was my first time taking pictures with this camera so some of these aren't as good as the ones I'm used to seeing here. Anyway, here they are. 1925 Wheat penny. These three had the A and M in America not touching. I think you can see it on at least two of the coins from the photo. These were all in the first box. Front Back 1998 and two 2000 wide AMs I don't know if these are worth anything. They are from 1963 and 1964 and I just thought they looked pretty good considering their age. Last find in my first box was this 1940 Canadian penny. Does anyone know of a safe way to get those black spots off my newer pennies? (Edited to fix a typo)

WOW, you found 3 WAMs in a single box? Congrats!
The only thing I do with moderns is wash them under as hot of water as I can stand and maybe a little dish soap and rub between your fingers only. Gently pat them dry and that's as good as they're going to get.
