Go to your bank that has a coin counting machine in the lobby etc. *The bank might require that you have some account with them*
Ask the Head teller or whomever is in charge would they be willing to hold and sell you full bags of pennies ($50.00) rather than leave them full in the vault to ship out later.
*I only buy pennies but the machines usually have bags of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves and dollars.
My bank was more than willing to let me buy them rather than keep the bags and have to ship them out later.
*If they agree, buy the full bags and start dumping your looked at coins at a different bank!*
Good luck!

Dave: What do you do with all the coins you looked out?- Re-wrap them all? I just bring all my coins(pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves, dollars (No Eisenhowers- only SBA'S, SAC's and Presidentials) into the bank, dump them into the coin hopper, press the magic button to start the machine conveyor belt, it counts all the coins, dispenses with a final pay out-slip which I sign and give to the teller, get paid and out I go! Maybe you better move to New Jersey (LOL)

Quote:It looks like an open 3 and "Liberty" is pretty well wiped out so I can't tell if this is a DDO, its probably a "good grade". Chuckster, your 1873 IHC is the "close 3" variety which is the scarcer of the two--great find! It looks to be F15+ to my eyes.

I agree that when it comes to cents customer rolls and bags are the way to go. One of the four banks that gives me the half dollars from their counting machine I asked for a full bag of cents from the other day. Still have to go through it; still have two bank boxes and about $40 in customer rolls to go through too. Plus another two boxes of nickels for the nickel survey. I have rolls and bags coming out of my ears right now! Total of $140 in cents and $200 in nickels! All set for the long holiday weekend!

I searched a $25 box, $25 in customer wrapped rolls, and $5 in shrink wrapped rolls.
I found:
14 Wheats (1921, 1929D, 1934, 1946S, 1952D, 1955S(I've been searching for a '55S FOREVER!) 1955D, two 1956D, 1957, two 1957D, and two 1958D)
20 2009D Log Cabin Cents
5 Canadian Cents (1960, 1981, 1985, 1989, 1990)
And a 1992D with some noticeable MD. It looks a lot like the one BadThad found! I'll post some pics later.

Wow it's not a Lincoln but I will be keeping this one for my Canada cent collection. The Lincoln below it is a 95-P it has some nice trails on it. I will have to see if it's listed on the trail die website. The others are just a 68-s (i don't see em like I used too)and a 68-p. I also found a 1970-s with some doubling on (in god)and (liberty) I'm still taking pics of it.

Congrats on the 1920 Canadian. I'm collecting Canadian cents from U.S. circulation. The oldest I've found so far is 1928.
