Just cashed in $70 of unwanted pennies from roll searching at the Credit Union...and picked up a $25 box from another branch and about to go through it now!

I just totaled up my penny roll hunting finds.
2,500 wheats (25$)
9 Indian heads
0 flying eagles :(
Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever found a Flying Eagle cent from searching penny rolls?

I have results from my box yesterday.. ended up with an average that BadThad had come up with awhile back. There 8 wheats in the $25 box I got yesterday. Total copper is 631 for a 25.24% copper percentage. Eight seemed to be a recurring number in my search: I got eight 2009 cents, eight wheat cents, and eight S-mint Memorials.

The second box I went through was more successful. I ended up with eleven wheats (one was not identifiable, but from the teens). Also, a 1919-S, 1945, 1947-D, 1951-D, 1955-D(x2), 1956(x2), 1957-D(x2). In total, I got 721 copper for a 28.84%.

50 rolls NF String

Probably the best box I've gone through in a while. The mintage on 1924-S is only 11 million.

The 24-S and the 19-D are newbies for me.

I went through a couple of boxes this weekend. A few wheats cents, some copper, a few with zinc rot and gas bubbles, a plastic cent, and a 1970S with Machine Doubling on the date.

Just finished the box I started a week ago Friday. One Canadian (1964) and a whopping 42 LWC (1.68%). I didn't track coppers or 2009's.
