Quote: just wondering why everyone talks about the Canadians that they pull? Are these collectible or valuable? I was always told that they are worthless... Did I miss something? Sorry if this is an ignorant question but I am kind of learning still.
Why do folks always keep these? You are right, they are worthless (well maybe 1 cent) but I keep them because they are foreign, common, but still foreign. also in 16 boxes or so, I have only found 60 canadian pennies. it's not hurting me to save 60 cents. and they are cool...

Quote: Saw the Indian when I was running coin for a member of the credit union. Decided to buy the bag off of the machine. The photos are the results. Nice finds!

Finished up the box that had the IHC. Two hole fillers: 1955-D 1947-D. What a great box! 17 other wheats in total, including my second 1934. Funny thing is, I got my first 1934 last week. Its weird, whenever I get a long sought-after hole filler, just about every time, very soon after I get a duplicate of it. Every time! Anyone else get Post Hole-filler Syndrome too?

Today's box gave me a quadruple I found my first IHC, that IHC being the oldest coin I own, completed my 1950s Wheat cent Denver issues from circulation, and reached my 200th post on Coin Community. What a great day!

Nice! I've found 5 or 6 Canadian centennial cents from CRH.

It's just centennial (Canada isn't very old). I found a 1927 Wheat cent today. I also found a Lincoln Cent with no Lincoln. It's a Magician's coin with two reverses. Someone must have spent some time making it.

I keep all Canadians 79 and older. Don't get a lot here in the Carolina's. best ones are 33, 34, 38, 39
I throw Canadians from 1980 through the year they quit making copper ( 96? - not at home to double check) into the copper bucket with the American cents.

I thought at first it was a flying eagle lol,(my heart actually skipped a beat for a second) I had never seen the centennial Canadian before, and I'm not very familiar with the flying eagle either. But, it still goes in the save pile. I have about 25 different Canadian cents now. One day I'll get a folder and start hunting for the complete set. The WAM came out of a OBW roll all in BU condition. It was the second coin I checked. I thought for sure I would get another, maybe 2, but no luck. I'm still pretty stoked about getting this one though. Out of the 4 that I have, this one is by far in the nicest condition. Still doing the Triple Banana Happy Dance! Happy Hunting Everyone!
