I found a 1913 and 1918 wheat this weekend. Wish they would have had a little letter under the date! But still very nice to find!!

finally found a 1949 s!

It has been the last hole in my 1941 and later Lincoln Cent book that I have had since I was a kid. And today, that coin popped out of a box!

Before it did, a 42s came out, and a 49. It actually made me think I had a chance at a 49s. And then it came!

In the end, there were 29 wheats in the box. This box was born 7/1/2014, so it is new, but it was a good one. That book is now complete, 30 years in the making.

That's fantastic! Congratulations.

Searched my first box in several months yesterday and today. Nothing spectacular. Twelve wheaties (oldest 1939P), ten 2009's all P, and a 2014 P. These were the best:

For about 15 seconds I thought the 69S might have been a DDO, but it's not even close.

I pulled a few 84P's to check for ears. Don't think so though.

Being on the east coast, finding S mints is satisfying, but finding S mint LWCs - more so. Nice find!

one bag yielded about 15 wheats - best was an AU 36 (Brown) and a worn 23.

nothing much else of major interest.

2 boxes, first was a copper hoarder's dump. No wheats, nothing copper at all. 2nd box had 11 wheats, thankfully not from the same batch as the first box.
