Cool Lincoln Roll Finds (From Bank Rolls) - Post Yours!

I just finished the last of my CW Pennies. It took me about 2 months to search the almost $125. There are 2 main reasons it took so long; I have a 15 month old that takes up most of my time and I search all Nickels and Halves first. Here are the results:

Source: I have an ongoing deal with my Bank. I take their CW coins so they don't have to pay to have an Armored Service pick them up. In exchange, they order Halves, Nickels, and the occasional bag of Ikes, when available, for me.

Results:
Indian cent: 1881, 1906

Wheat: 65 total, with the oldest being 1934 and a 195?-S.
Copper: Estimated $30. I really don't count them. I just know from past experience that each tray holds about $15 and I filled 2 trays.

About 24% Copper, I thought it was a little high. But most of the members of this branch are older. Some of these rolls are from the same batch I picked up in January. I really scored on some 40% Halves and War Nickels back then. I pulled 74 40%ers out of $100 in Halves, 68 War Nickels, and almost a roll of Buffalos out of $100 in Nickels.

Side note: I now have almost $250 in Copper pennies. About half are rolled and stored in Bank boxes. The rest are just in a plastic Home Depot bucket. I really don't have the time to search them for Varieties or Errors unless I quit all other searching. I don't see the Government legalizing the melting of them in my lifetime, yet I can't seem to just toss them back. I'm a little bit of a hoarder. I don't have an ebay account and I really don't trust craigslist. I thought about seeing if my local Coin Shop knew anyone that may want them. Any suggestions?

Here in CT, not unusual to not find an S mint in 10 rolls. Are you East Coast Chris?

5 Wheaties: 1940, 2x 1942, 1948, 1952-D, all G-F
9 1968-1974S: No upgrades
8 2009s: No upgrades, no 2009P Presidency yet.

Rackster- Charlottesville, VA. I always enjoy finding s mints for that very reason haha.

Just finished box number 10! This one weighed in at 14 lbs. 11 oz. so I knew it would yield more copper than usual. I ended up pulling nearly 500 coppers from this box.

Now on to the fun stuff - here are the finds:

7 Wheats: 1918, 1942, 1944-D, 1945, 1946, 1957-D, 1958 in AU/BN.

3 Canadians: 1977, 1979, 1989.

I also found about a dozen AU LMR's from the 60's, 70's and 80's and about half a dozen BU LMR Zincolns of various dates

Not a spectacular box, but productive nonetheless. My favorite find was the 1918, though it is only in "good" condition.

BadThad, I didn't find the IHC in Bank boxes. I found them in CW coin from my local Bank. I attribute my luck in finding them to the fact that the Bank has a large number of elderly customers.
