Anyone here ever find a 1914 - D? What are the odds?

So small it is impossible. I'd say there is not a single 1914D Wheat cent in circulation, nor has there been for at least 50 years. As for that 1932 D, mr. click, that is an EPIC find! |

sa - I see folks with coffee mugs filling with cents at work. As if they don't know what to do with them!!   SG - I'd have a tough time throwing that 1974 back! Nice little mix you picked up with that hunt. I was thinking the same thing the other day Carlos. I suppose I wonder about all the rare collectables; can they be had for face value? I think it is possible to find one during a CRH event, but to find it you have to be really lucky. |

I went through my first box ever. I got 10 wheats (1 ender) and the oldest was 1936. And 2 canadian cents.

Went through a box a few nights ago. I found 39 wheaties and a 49 Canadian cent. Best of the lot were 2 1920s and maybe a 1911. Still haven't figured it out yet.

They were uncommon to find but very possible in the 50's-70's. They were only worth a small bit in the 50's, I think several dollars but yet again that could buy you a lot of candy. There's probably at least 50,000 or more circulating I would have to guess. |

I had a Canadian kind of night. Got 12 in a single roll. $17 worth 36 Canadian including a 1952 George 11 LWC. Best were 1910, 1925 (verg on front), 40-s 15 2009s Not bad! |
