Have t done cents in ages.
Picked up a box today and found a blank planchet at an end of a roll. Too bad I didn't notice it before opening the roll.

Finished my box and found 66 wheats! Only 7 rolls that didn't have a Wheatie or a Canadian. Best roll had five Wheats. Wheats 1919 1929 1940 1941 1942 1944 - 6 1944D - 6 1945 - 2 1946 - 7 1947 1948 1951 1951D - 4 1952D - 3 1953D - 2 1953S 1955 - 2 1955D - 3 1956 1956D - 8 1957 1957D - 5 1958D - 7 Canadian 1962 - 2 1964 1967 1973 1982 1997 (in pitiful shape) 2003 LMC S-mints 1969S - 2 1970S - 3 1988D BU 9 assorted 2009's - none in remarkable shape |

Good Lawd ! --  66 Wheats in one box ? Good Gawd Gurdy ! I thought finding 17 Wheats in a box was historic for me last week....that blows me outta the water ! Incredible box there...unbelievable score ! --------  --------- |

I know! Talk about a great box. Every time I found another one I couldn't help but smile. I probably used up all of my luck for the rest of the year!

Thanks, jbuck! Floridays: That's one heck of a box... I've done 3 boxes so far... 7, 10, and 11 were my wheat totals. Speaking of which, I have an update for my finds through 3 1/2 months of searching...  CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Looks like lots of fun had...or to be had! 1934D, 1919D (that's the one to find for that date), and lots of wheats. Good stuff folks!

1 box down... Wheats: 1958-D --(2) 1956-D 1955-D 1952-D 1941 1944 1944-D 1947 1949-S And.... Several Canadians, but one is a ... 1940I see there are a lot of errors to look for for this specific year....fingers crossed ! ..---  |
