Thanks, guys! I was so excited that I snapped a pic with my cel too! As you can see, my cel takes horrible pics. Oh well.

Nice find, John77! We did a box this weekend, and only found 6 wheats (44, 44D, 46, 46D, 51D, 53D), plus 11 Canadians. Did find a Euro 2 Cent from 2002, as well as a 1986 Bermuda 1 cent. My son was excited to see it has a pig on the front :)

Sure John...it was the camera phone and not your trembling digits!

Unfortunately, my new phone just doesn't take good pics. The price I've paid for insisting on having a phone with a keypad as opposed to just having one with a touch screen.

Thanks, dadsoncoinhobby! 6 wheats in 2,500 coins is not the best ratio... oh well, next box will be better, and at least your kid was happy!

Got another $10 from each of my banks... this time the first $10 was CWR from my bigger branch. 3 wheats in that batch. Got $10 more from the bank where I got the Indian, 7 more wheats including a 36, and a 47-S.
BTW, I'm working on a Short Set (1934-Date) of Lincolns from circulation, and those two filled a couple of holes. Now down to 13 coins missing: 35-D, 35-S, 36-D, 37-D, 38-D, 39, 39-D, 40-D, 41-D, 43-D, 48-S, 51, and 54. While I'm sure the 1939, 1948-S, and 1951 dated coins will show up at some point soon, I'm sure some of the others like the 1939-D, and the 1954 Philly will be a challenge.

Sweet! I've never found an IHC in a coin roll. That is a great find, John77. My last box turned up eight wheats. Canadian cents are still out there, but I expect them to drop off since they are no longer produced.

Thanks, mvl9591! Today, I went back to the same bank where I had gotten 15 wheats in $20... Well, the $10 I got from there today was a skunker! Oh well. Can't win every day!

My last box resulted in 25 wheats. Nothing to write home about, typical 30's, 40's & 50's but one of the wheats was an upgrade in my album. I'll take that percentages any day especially when I see some people getting less than 15 per box. There were also only 3 2009's and 2 canadians.

gratefuldad, that's a GREAT ratio! 1 per 100 is tough to beat...
And jbuck, the ol' wheat skunk is never fun! Got $10 more yesterday, and found 2 wheats including a nice 1941-D to fill a hole in my circulation finds/CRH set.

Thanks, jbuck. Well, I got my 2nd wheat skunk in 3 days... 16 rolls (8 CWR, 10 MWR) produced not a one. So that is a 2 for 2800 Wheat cent slump. But I'm not complaining... found my 2nd Indian ever last week, filled several holes, and of course had that little nickel bonanza!
