Cool Lincoln Roll Finds (From Bank Rolls) - Post Yours!

Just wanted to throw out some more numbers for ya guys.

After approx. $200 worth of pennies searched, I have averaged about 8-12 wheats per box, 5-6 canadians, 5-6 'S' mints.( I pull all the S mints out just because they are so hard to find in circulation for me in the midwest)

My best finds have been:

1 1958 AU wheat
2 2000 Wide AM

Those are pretty common and carry no added premium....unless it's on BOTH sides. I keep them if they're nice just for novelty purposes. I just plucked a 1998 that was about 3-5% off-center on the obverse side....just a hair away from cutting off design elements. I'm no expert on errors, but if any of the design elements are missing, I believe it can be classified as an error. Otherwise, it's just a collector thing since it's so common.

Doesn't that tee you off! LOL I've found quite a few very nice BU coins with nothing wrong except a huge, black finger print on them. I don't get it, the only person to handle the coin was somebody who just got done working on a car for 8 hours and didn't wash their hands? ROFL

2 boxes of handwraps.

Box 1 had a rusty 1943 in the first roll (a first for box hunting), and a whole plethora of 1988, 1989, 1990 in nice red condition, and a 1935-D which grades AU on the reverse, but has an extremely worn die on the obverse. It had to have been someone else's hoard.

Box 2 had a nice AU 1951-D with purple-ish toning on IGWT and EPU, but not as much 2005-2008 coins (finally), a Delaware River (PA-NJ) bridge token, and a couple Canadian cents.
