Found a 1925-P today from a customer roll. Not super rare, but wanted to share. Cheers!

I hunted a weird penny box tonight. The box came from the bank, but it was a mix of mostly uncirculated and some circulated. I would say the ratio is at least 80% uncirculated and 20% circulated. So I guess it was equivalent to searching through 10 circulated rolls. The copper penny count was obviously low; I managed to eke out 101 copper pennies, including Wheat cents. But the strange thing was that I still found 6 Wheat cents (nothing before the 40s), meaning Wheat cents were around 6% of the overall copper cent population, which is really high for me. So it wasn't a total loss, given how uncirculated the box was. But these types of boxes are the best I can find now in my area. Maybe it's because the mint is making a lot of pennies right now, and Loomis is getting most of their pennies from the mint. Who knows. I also hunted a nickels box tonight - yea, I've been busy. I found 2 Buffalo nickels, in addition to a bunch of 40s and 50s. I think this is really the first time I've hunted a nickels box, so it was nice to see those Buffalos. I've actually never seen Buffalos in person before; I've seen them plenty online, though. So it was great to actually see and touch them. Anyway, one was a 1934, and the other was unfortunately dateless. But, my first Buffalos regardless :-) Cheers!

Hi, I am new for the coin collection and coin rolls hunting Yesterday I went to bank of America to get a few rolls of half dollars, quarters, and cents. Both half dollars and quarters are customer wrapped, and turned out to be well searched by others, not much findings for me. for the cents, I originally asked for $10,but the teller said do you have a business account with us? I said no,only personal account, then she said she can only give me $5 cents. I took them with smile and found that they are machine wrapped. And from the ending check, at least they are not brand new for all the rolls uncirculated cents from 2022 or something like that(that happened to me a few times, nothing to search). When I quickly went through these $5 cents, I found that it generated my best findings of cents so far. 3 average worn wheat cents,1945P,1952D 1957D. 3 2009 cents And then I found the following 4 sparkling shinny cents in 1958D(wheat), 1959, 1962, and 1970S. Are they all proof coin? Or only the 1970 S is proof coins? Is it worth sending them to be graded?

Bought $20 of Cents on Monday. 37 CWR produced 3 wheaties - a 53D, 56D, and a 58D... Surprisingly, the best find came from the 3 MWR. Only one wheatie, but it was a tougher date - a 1938-S! I'm still trying to complete a 1934-1958 CRH/circ finds set and am missing the 1938-D and 1939-D... probably would need to find someone's dump hoard to get one or both of those dates.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Really nice find on the 1938s John77! Today I found a 1940F 5 Reichspfennig. It is a German WWII coin and I was quite surprised to find a coin with a swastika on it out of a box of Lincoln Cents. The picture isn't great but the coin is doing pretty well for being 83 years old and made of zinc.

I wonder how it ended up in circulation.
