I bought 1,000 MWR cents from a new teller at one of my banks on Tuesday... I didn't go through them until Thursday... 6 of them turned out to be wheaties including a 1920!

I went back to that same branch and teller yesterday, got 1,000 more MWR and found 5 more wheaties including a 1949-S!

yesterday I went to dump my discarded cents to coinstar, when I pour out the coins, one coin with strange color captured my eyes. The back side was shining with golden luster. Then I noticed that I missed a Wheat cent while I was doing coin roll hunting. It seems to be a 1935 D

I received a bag of pennies from my grandmother. They were coins that my late grandfather had accumulated over the years.
I found one Wheat cent, a 1957-D, along with five dimes, two Canadian cents (both from 1987), and 128 copper cents (which I put in my copper jar).
Most of the cents found dated from the 2000s, and only 50 coins out of the more than 600 were Philadelphia mints, which obviously put a damper on how many coins I could search for varieties. Needless to say, I didn't find any Wide AMs or '95 DDOs. I had nearly a full roll of just 2004-D cents. It feels weird seeing Memorial cents look that nice.
As for the copper cents, there were actually a handful of S minted Memorials, which I always have trouble finding. Three 1970-S cents were found, none of which were the rare variety, and two 1969-S cents were found, none of which obviously were the DDO. My grandparents lived in California during the 2000s, so that explains the absolute domination of Denver minted coins and the higher proliferation of San Francisco minted coins in the bag.

I found my very first 2009 satin finish cent yesterday. I save all the 2009 cents I find for my daughter, but this is the first satin finish out of probably ~500 2009 cents. They're not really supposed to be in circulation, but I guess this one somehow found its way into circulation. And oh, this is the log cabin one.

Cheers!

Congrats on your first satin finish cent! By the way, aside from the finish, they can be distinguished from circulation strike cents by the fact that the satin finish coins are 95% copper.

Went to the bank last week because I needed a roll of quarters to make change for prize money for a bowling league. Just for giggles I decided to get 2 rolls of pennies. Found a '51D and a '55 wheat in the rolls! Didn't take pictures

I saw the post in the quarter thread with 400+ silvers. Wouldn't it be awesome if lady luck made that 55 Wheatie a DDO?

No pics of the '51 D and '55 wheat cents? How about a sketch or two?
