I have no artisitc ability at all. If I made a sketch it would like it was done by a 5 year old. Not a DDO, sadly

I found a 1925-S Wheat cent in decent shape in a Loomis roll yesterday. It was in the last roll of the 14 rolls that I had got, with no finds before that. So it was a nice find to end the search yesterday. Too bad it missed 100 years by 2 years, so I couldn't post it in the 100+ year old thread. Quote: Congrats on your first satin finish cent! By the way, aside from the finish, they can be distinguished from circulation strike cents by the fact that the satin finish coins are 95% copper. Thanks! I have a jeweler's scale, and I weigh every cent, except for the shield backs. I still need to do the math on battery cost vs. reading the date on every penny Cheers!

It's amazing how many times your only good find is in the last roll.

So on Monday I bought 500 cents from my favorite teller... 350 of them were MWR and produced three common-date wheaties (1944, 1945, and 1953-D)... I was tempted to go back and get more of her cents, but decided to wait until today... she had 900 MWR of cents left so I took all 18 rolls... Surprisingly,17 of the rolls turned up no wheaties... but there was a nice surprise in the one roll: a 1929-S with a slight case of road rash.
