I really wonder what the US Mint thinks when they put various items up for sale a household limit of 99 on day one, glad I did not have my heart set on getting one of these.

I received my order confirmation (W ASEs) on 2/11 but still no tracking number. I have the feeling this one could take a little while to arrive.

The 2021 LESPS does indicate 'S' and 'W' indicating a W mint ASE, but the product number '21RCN' leads me to believe it will be the type II reverse ASE - the NEW reverse thus 'N' in the item number. This seems to be the indication on other issues - note 21EA and 21EAN for the ASE W proof coin. |

I guess there is no reason to speculate. They are either available on the mint website or they aren't.

HSN's resident numismatist is charging $380 for an ANACS PR70 of the proof ASE. The NGC version he wants $399. FWIW he thinks the units sold on Thursday are all that's going to be sold and the mint is going on to making Type II. Take it FWIW. Edited by mrpapageorgio

I got a shipping notice and tracking number a few days ago. But there hasn't been any movement yet.

The platinum coin from Feb 4th, the US Mint price has went up twice in 13 days already, 1645 to 1695 to 1845 now. Wow, the price of platinum has doubled since about a year ago.

The entire U.S. central south is crippled from this snow apocalypse for which we were woefully unprepared (and why would we be?). It'll be a few more days I think before I see a tracking #.
And wow on the platinum price. Not that it was in question before but I will definiteliy not be getting this one now, as much as I like the design.
