Hello all. I wanted to get some opinions on what this is. I'm not sure if its md or a doubled die. Thanks for any help

I believe this is just Die Deterioration Doubling. You can see similar doubling on STATES in the one pic.

Thanks Tanman2001. I was looking at states and the hair and couldn't tell what doubling it was

Actually it is Machine Doubling. Note the direction of the affected area. (N/NW) Then note the 'A' on States. Also showing the same direction on the cross bar of that device. If this were DDD, the area nearest the closest rim, would be showing the movement towards the rim. I'm just not seeing that on this coin. Machine Doubling. (Also note, the affected areas are flat, shelf like and missing the contour of those devices. On a doubled ear the DDO is raised above the fields/devices, not lower than the devices.
