2000 P Maryland Quarter Possible Doubled Ear?

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/07/2020 1:29 pm Actually it is Machine Doubling. Note the direction of the affected area. (N/NW) Then note the 'A' on States. Also showing the same direction on the cross bar of that device. If this were DDD, the area nearest the closest rim, would be showing the movement towards the rim. I'm just not seeing that on this coin. Machine Doubling. (Also note, the affected areas are flat, shelf like and missing the contour of those devices. On a doubled ear the DDO is raised above the fields/devices, not lower than the devices. All affected areas are on the outside part of the devices. Report this Post to the Staff
