CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 12/08/2020 8:13 pm Thanks for writing - Doubling on the Date in particular. Trying to get a good pic of what I see through my eye loupe is most difficult. The only scope I am able to afford is the standard 20.00 USB microscope; so the lighting from it washes out pic or makes it appear totally flat. Takes me awhile to get the proper pic for you all to peruse. I'll keep trying to figure it out - and I may be wrong anyways. Report this Post to the Staff
merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 12/08/2020 8:51 pm Don't worry about not being able to afford a microscope. I know many here use only the cameras on their cell phones, and they do a fantastic job. Even my older iPhone 8 is able to zoom in 8 times (many times lower magnification is better anyways). Coin photography is tricky anyway with shiny surfaces, especially on newer coins. Hang in there! Bonne chance! Report this Post to the Staff
