If you want to sell your rejects, please let us know @hfjacinto - I recognize the tongue in cheek, but as you know, the slots that get upgraded are nice coins. I do offer for sale the coins that are removed from my sets as a result of upgrades. EDITED OUT more detailed information. Steve

@winesteven, I believe what you posted is ok, if not a moderator will let us know. If my budget would allow me to purchase those coins I would, but I'm a budget collector. I live vicariously through others high end purchase. I did check them out and I had to order a new computer as I drooled all over the keyboard and gave myself an electric shock, but when the eyes jumped back into my head it was only a flesh wound BTW, I can agree with this: "A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!"

Quote: If I'm not allowed to indicate the above here, my apologies. Just let me know and I'll remove everything that is problematic. The only time it's a problem is when people try to use CCF exclusively as a marketplace. Technically, you're a "New Member" so you can't BST or advertise on the forum, but, while I'm not a mod, I can't imagine them having an issue with you saying this.

@hfjacinto - You made me laugh with your earlier comment. Your last comment - so nice! Thanks.

As a New Member, it's important to me that I avoid any problems. As such, I edited my above post in replying to another member asking me that I inform others when I upgrade coins. Thanks. Steve
A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine! My collecting "Pride & Joy" is my PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 Set: https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/ty...edset/213996

Quote: Unfortunately, there have been no hoards discovered of any consequence. The numismatic fraternity is limited to the small number of high-grade specimens that very infrequently return to the fold from one of their own. Right. Even the Randall Hoard didn't contain any pre-1815 Large Cents (strangely). So it didn't help alleviate the Classic Head "shortage".

Quote:I don't think any other coin (except the draped bust cent) in the set can't be had in XF without breaching that $300 limit. Draped Bust Half Dime, Heraldic Eagle: $4,000+ (XF) It's not in the 7070 set. The first Half Dime in the 7070 is the capped bust 1829 - 37. Quote:@condor Seated dollar? That's probably tied with the Draped bust cent at #2 Neither one would be available in XT for under the $300 limit but either can be had in VF for about half what the classic head cent would cost. to get down to the $300 range for either you would have to go to Fine, but the dollar could be had with a little stretching above that in VF, and definitely cheaper than the Draped Bust cent in VF. OK so I was wrong about nothing other than the Draped Bust and Classic head being over $300, but you have to admit that I wasn't far off.
