NGC price guides are a meme.

As for the registry points they're adjusted set to set. That 255 point figure is likely for a Lincoln set, not type. If you want to see the actual number of points you get per coin look here
https://www.NGCcoin.com/registry/co.../definition/
Just select the Type, date and then look at the grade and it'll tell you the actual amount.

Grape,

Even though you "bullied" me, you are AWESOME! Thanks, I was wondering why some coins were totally off and others where correct. Also does this LMC meet with your approval?

Lol. It fails! You should have gone for a 70 .

As for the points I dunno, NGC is just weird.

In 2020 my wife lost her job and while we had planned for it, Covid threw a curveball into our plans. So we put the 2020 plans on hold until she went back to work. After a few months of being home my wife was able to find another job. And while I really enjoyed her being home, she isn't the type of person that can stay home and not do anything, a former co-worker hooked her up and she went back to work late in 2020.

One of the plans was to update our bedroom. With her going back we ended up getting a new bed and doing some updates. What this meant is that our old furniture had to go. We finally after many weeks of being delayed got our furniture in late January. I was tasked with selling the old furniture. Within a few days we had several offers. We split the money, she is getting a facial and a massage and I got some coins. I picked up two this weekend. The first one was the $5 Proof LMC and this Seated Liberty 50 cents (my first from New Orleans mint). Even though its only XF45, it has really nice visual appeal and toning. Price was excellent and it gave me 856 points and moved me to 135. All in all a good return for 30 minutes of work selling used furniture.

Today's is a 2 cent shield. This one has hints of red. With this coin I'm at 133 and 62%.

The next coin I get is an "upgrade", well not really but it is a coin that I need for my FE/IHC collection, but it will be an upgrade for this set so I'll add registry points but % complete won't move.

I ordered 2 more, they looked like they were shipped (from Texas) before the storm, but they are "Late in Transit", so it could be a while. There were NGC photos so they are on my registry set. With these 2 I am at 130 and 65%. I have 3 more on hold locally and then I have to find the missing coins on the internet. The way the USPS is I'm concerned about buying online. The shipping speed has been stalled or stopped lately

Good luck! Texas has been a disaster..... but USPS is worse.

I had a package coming from Florida (to me in Texas) and it was sent to California! They redirected it and was supposed to be here last Tuesday.

@Ty2020B, stay warm in Texas!

In terms of good news, the package that left the regional sorting facility on Monday finally reached the 10 miles to my local post office. Only took 4 days to go 10 miles. Its currently scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I hope its not soaked as it rained a lot on Monday and today its snowing.
Rest in Peace

Texas is a mess where I am. The main roads are worse today than on Tuesday when I went into town for more gas for my generator. No mail delivered yet this week.

Great upgrade and and addition on this page!
