Amazing 20c! Great eye appeal! How much did she set you back? Curious to see how much of a difference between yours and mine.
In regards to Steven's comments upthread on CAC, I am about to send out a group of coins along with a group of coins Ty2020 sent me, if you'd like to have any of yours added I'd be more than happy to do so.

Yours is MS63, can't really compare. In terms of CAC, I'm pretty certain this one would merit a green bean. And while I really appreciate the offer, for now I want to complete the set (buy coins instead of sticker). I may take you up next year. I have about 20 that I think would get a green bean. BTW don't trust that TY character he calls the Bison Nickels, buffalos... strange character he is

Quote: Very nice @jBuck! Thank you. Mine is safely tucked away in the 7070, so a higher grade was not going to happen for me.

Quote: Yours is MS63, can't really compare Wellll yeah the one in my type set is, but I've acquired a few mid AU 20c for a client, so I was more curious how yours stacked up to his. The price was about what I paid for his, and yours very well might have more eye appeal than his did. Great pickup. You'll just have to bring it to show me next time you're in town. He talks to me in his free time, you'd have to be one strange person to want to do that

I just ordered one of the modern quarters that I was missing. I don't know what's going on with ebay but the prices lately aren't what I'm expecting. I have one more quarter that I liked that a dealer has but after that I'm going to check out great collections.

Do it! GC is great. Lower BP than the other auction houses. Pictures are.... ok, but better than most you'll find on ebay. At least they're consistent. Once you buy a few things and get them in hand, you can get a better feel for their pics. I've bought a good number of coins from them, and wound up being more cost effective than ebay, even with the BP. That being said, there has still been plenty I've been outbid on (and overbid IMO), it happens.

I've been waiting for these to get to a better price. That was early this week. Still expensive, but much cheaper than a few weeks ago. Didn't change my rank but I am now at 82% complete only 15 (the registry profile has a coin that I ordered but haven't yet received) coins to go (14 with the one that has been shipped).

I have read all the previous 20 pages of this topic. It is very interesting to observe the success of a hobby colleague in filling out the 7070 set. Keep up the good work.

I want to ask. In such standard sets, it is better to add PF or MS coins to your collection? I mean, of course, modern coins (Anthony, Eisenhower, etc.)

While I participate only in the PCGS Registry, I suspect the points given are the same for the same grade, MS or PF. However, the modern proofs are easy to get with a suffix like UC or Cameo, which I believe provides extra points. 2. For modern coins, I believe it's less expensive most of the time to get Proof coins graded 69 or 70, compared to MS coins. 3. Modern Proof coins typically have greater eye appeal than MS coins as a result of the polished dies, and I believe being struck twice and with greater pressure. As a result, the proof coins look like the way the designer intends for the coin to look as it comes off the press. For my Registry Dansco 7070 set, I always try to get proof coins when the pricing allows for that compared to mint state coins in those same grades. Steve

What Steve said, in the modern series the Proof tend to give you more points and the cost is minimal. In the older series it's weird, in some coins a proof is much cheaper than a high grade MS (for example IHC). I personally like the way proof coins look so why not add them?
