@spence, I dont know I found it last night searching through my last pile of coins that I get weekly. I was hoping to get more info on the toning here.
Ah, that is more clear to me. I'm not aware of clad coinage naturally toning so quickly, but this isn't really an area of knowledge for me. I'm hoping that others will weigh in as they see this thread so that we can both learn.

@rothery, both sides? There is slight toning on the other side as well. There is also an almost perfect triangle which is the weird part. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe I read that if you mix a clad coin with silver coins it will start toning. Not 100% so don't quote me on that.
