As another CCF member stated, the newest Morgan dollars and the oldest Peace dollars are now a century old! 1921 was an interesting period for coinage: countries in Europe were piecing together their economies after World War I, new currencies were being established in Eastern Europe and British 'silver' coins were now only 50% silver. So let's see your coins from 1921! A few examples to get the ball rolling! 1921 British shilling - King George V 1921 France 25 centimes 1921 Tunisia 1 franc - as in France, high-value silver coins were replaced by aluminium-bronze 'Bon Pour' tokens. I'll leave it to my American friends to post some lovely Morgan and Peace dollars and maybe a 1921 Pilgrim half!

Also, Canadians can post their lovely 5 and 50 cent coins of 1921!
I think that I have a roll of them somewhere.

Thank you NumisRob. This thread motivated me to go through my world coins that I haven't looked at for quite some time. Here are some 1921s that I found. This first one was marked "1921?" so not quite sure why I added the question mark. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. 1921 Moroccan 1 Franc THANK YOU COMMEMS!

Per Numista: The issue year can be determined by whether there is the "lightning bolt" privy mark of Poissy Mint at the bottom of the inner field, under the Arabic denomination. Coins without a privy mark are from 1921, coins with a privy mark are from 1924.I don't see a lightning bolt below the Arabic writing under the"1 Franc" denomination on your coin, so it seems to be a "1921" issue. Here's a link to the Numista page with an image of the privy mark: Lighning Bolt Privy Mark
