I Recreated this via outlines, and I believe this to be a 2 degree Class 1 DDR.

Nope, I spent about 2 hours on canva.com, I just used objects and overlayed them on your image.

Hello Kloccwork419,

Beautiful Coin, Great find,

I have identified 3 DDRs on 1998

1- sample, it is like yours, showing a CCW rotation

1998-Brazil-10-Centavos-Doubled-Die

2- sample, it is also showing a CCW rotation, but with large spread,

1998-Brazil-10-Centavos-Doubled-Die

3- sample, We can see a CW rotation,

1998-Brazil-10-Centavos-Doubled-Die

regards,

I buy foreign coins by the pound. My heart always races a little when I come across a coin from Brazil. Nothing like adding a doubled die to my collection for $5 per pound and this country has a good percentage of beauties!

You can pick them on ebay very cheap. jmarcelo, I really like #2. I might have to find one uncirculated.
