Picked up 4 0r 5 boxes of these. New wrapped Canadian BU cents which have ranged so far from the years 1957 to 1964 with most being from the 50's. I have only unwrapped about 10 rolls and they are all much like the sample roll shown here. I am hoping that there may be earlier dates in the rest of the rolls. These came off the Brinks truck into my brothers grocery store. I have also got from the brinks deliveries about 15 rolls of silver Canadian 25 cent coins and the next week about 15 rolls of silver Canadian 10 cent coins. I have in the past also got a couple of 5 cent coins which contained every year including some varieties. (probably from someone cashing in a collection). Another time there were dozens of rolls of George VI cents

VERY nice finds chrycopaul! At a coin meeting a while ago someone was selling rolls something like this, but a bit lower grade. They all had the great lustre and everything though, and I paid around 2.5X face! Years were mid-50s to late 60s, with fine+ quality for 1930s-1940s.

I should be getting some coin roll money soon, *must ... search ... more ... rolls!* ;)

Keep 'em coming!

Pretty nice with the nickels! I tried nickels a bit, but pennies are more rewarding for me, because you get lucky more often, and they're really cheap ;P I might go back for more nickels, but I'm going to see how long it will take me to search $1000 worth of cents. $164.50 down, $835.50 to go!

I got my first total skunk today Bought $20 in nickels and $20 in cents. The nickels turned out to be someone's dump (all the rolls had X's on them). I went through them anyway...nothing! The cents came in a box and they were all 2008's still in plastic mint rolls. This was from the same bank I've been getting my rolls from for the last month and a half and I had been doing so good. Now I'll have to find another bank.

Nice finds, especially FrostCross for your 1938! It's hard to find ones that old.

I went through another 3200 this weekend (still going through the toned and BU's though) and here's the results (total now 19650 = 393 rolls):

Canada:
Years - count - 1 every how many coins
1920s - 0 (still )
1930s - 2 - 9825
1940s - 16 - 1228
1950s - 72 - 273
1960s - 480 - 41

USA:
1920s - 2 - 9825
1930s - 1 - 19650
1940s - 12 - 1638
1950s - 18 - 1092
1960s - 77 - 255
1970s-2008s - 963 - 20
USA 1970-2008 keeping: 49 (plus some more I haven't checked yet)

This search had it's share of unusuals:

Coin-Roll-Finds---Post-Yours-Here!

Coin-Roll-Finds---Post-Yours-Here!

and one with a big black B on thr obverse (couldn't get a decent picture).

And the oldest Canadian coin I've found yet:

Coin-Roll-Finds---Post-Yours-Here! Coin-Roll-Finds---Post-Yours-Here!
