I don't remember now where I heard that though? Correct. The Variety 1 CuNi Ikes were minted in 1975 and the Variety 2 were minted in 1976. The 1975 mint and proof sets have a Variety 1 Ike, the 1976 sets have Variety 2. All silver bicentennial Ikes are Variety 1. I am sure there was some unintentional overlap, but I have never seen a set that had the incorrect Ike.
