For me, a toss up between VF 35 and XF 40, given the photos, but leaning towards XF 40. Too many nice details.
Stay well, Diy89Nurm7

The way the TPGs grade early copper I think it could be anywhere from EF45 to MS61 on a slab. I do see some fantastic detail showing no real wear points, some softer areas and a few old scratches, maybe grades EAC 40/55 net 45? In a PCGS holder hmmm, that's a toughie. AU55?
I may be way off base here but I almost went MS60.

A little flat on the forehead hair. Veins missing on some leaves on reverse.
If not a weak strike,I'm in at XF40. Weak strike, AU53.

Few hours left.
This coin has sparked a huge difference in grades and I can't wait to give the answer, because that'll likely cause another whole talk.

This. Is. Just. Stupid. I'm not sure what else to call it, just plain stupid. I paid UNDER VF-20 book price for this! How? I'm astounded. I expected this to go for high VF money. I graded this XF and possibly as high as AU, how the heck did PCGS come to a VF-25? Only 1 person said below XF and they said it'd be VF-35 at the worst! I have no idea who had this slabbed but they got robbed. When I say wait for a choice coin, deals like this are what I'm talking about. https://www.greatcollections.com/Co...CGS-VF-25-BN

I still think it deserves 30, but either way, a super example.

To show just how silly this is. Red is what I paid, blue is "Avg" price, green and gold were the average grades given by you all, and purple was the highest given. The point I'm trying to make is what I've preached the entire time I've built this set. Don't buy an accurately graded coin, buy one undergraded or superior for the grade.
