I am also wondering about clad errors. Are they worth looking into?

If they are true clad errors they are but a lot of what people think to be clad errors
are really just environmental toning

Clad errors should be under weight a bit and show the red color under the missing cladding. Also they can be a tend to be a bit weaker on the strike because of the missing cladding reducing the height of the planchet:

Agreed with @JimmyD - what is more is that as the minting process for clad coins is perhaps more complicated than those of regular 'solid' alloys, an intimate knowledge of the process is a must.
