Hi there.
I'm very much a beginner, but I'm wondering if I've possibly found a unique/new defect coin?

The following links are for high-quality ~3MB PNG pictures on 'imgbb'

I figured it looked a little like a fork. It may be wishful thinking, but it doesn't seem likely that it got 3 perfect impressions in the middle of the coin post-mint. Am I being naive?

I'm happy to take more/different pictures if needed. This was done at night with my flash, perhaps I can get a better picture in sunlight or with specific lighting. Let me know.

Thanks for having me on the forum :)

On one hand I can't escape thinking it may be a die variety,
because on the other hand,
the 'fork' is not in a place where you may find coin damage without damaging the field above the kangaroos's back.

I have 80 of the 2016 MOR and just checked them. I found a similar marking but higher up - under the roo's neck.
