Why is it that you get a Penny for you thoughts

Well, that is because you are undercharging, I used to get a penny for my thoughts, but then I realized what you did, so I upped my price. I now get a minimum of 25 cents per thought, 50 cents if multiple thoughts are required. Don't blame me, blame inflation...

Following on the heels of this story a bloke in England mailed a box of ten pence coins in to a local authority to pay a parking fine. The local authority thought it might be a bomb so they evacuated the whole building!

i think it would have been more intersting if the guy paid the ticket in Half Cents, or fractional notes. Then you'd really get some news media there. -XoG

Hey guys,

I'm opening an account soon with the rejects of my penny pile (all zincs) so I can get the WAMU free $100.

I'll tell you guys how it goes

Also, it's a shoebox full of pennies...

Today, the teller looked at it, sighed, and took it into the back room to be counted. It seems like she's seen a lot of these dump boxes...

Picture with that story looked like the coins were Presidential dollars. So I think the SBA thing is probably inaccurate.

There was a picture with the article?

I did not see one. Then again, I block a lot of stuff by default. Are you sure it was not a targeted ad?

Michelle Finnerty, from Suffolk SafeCam, said: "The sender on this occasion has wasted police time, has wasted the bomb disposal team's time and caused unnecessary concern and anxiety.

"In the process they've cost themselves more money in having to post the parcel special delivery."

"When contacted for a quote, the sender managed to stop laughing just long enough to inform this reporter that "it was worth every last penny, mate!""
