Hi, I'm new to the forum. I inherited a cool little coin collection from my grandpa and I've been enjoying learning about the coins. I got a coin microscope and I already had a small portable microscope (made for rockhounding) and I've been examining the coins when I came accross this penny, which at first impression seems to have a mint mark error? Since I'm new to coin collecting I don't know much about this, so I thought I'd post these pics and see if anyone could help me understand a little better what I'm looking at. Any info would help. Thanks!
Yes, larger, higher-resolution photos would do wonders. Suggest spot-checking our community, looking for example photos which stand-out, and others which are about useless. Thanks.
