I found this coin a while back just because of my sick sense of humor about the assassination. I assumed it was post mint damage but now feel it is a mint error. Please let me know what you think.

It is PMD, something stuck it with considerable force, causing metal displacement.

It is damaged. Note how the outside roundness is removed from that are. PSD.

Thank you for the info. Will keep it anyways just for laughs. I realize it was smashed good. I thought that since part of the reverse was not raised it made it special some how. This stuff can be so confusing and I admire all of you that pushed thru the confusion and figured it all out.

I really like the Lincoln Cent with the gun. The gun definately needs to be pointed the other way. Thanks for the smile.
