I see a smaller/lighter D above the D, the rest is machine damage. Shiny platform around the profile and the lettering.

Ive been waiting to find an RPM like that. I like to call them "ghost RPMs". I feel like when I find one of those then Ill know that I'm looking close enough, and paying enough attention to the right things. Ive found lots of RPMs but no ghosts yet. Good find, man.

Nice one, I have a weakness for anything rpm/omm. I have a couple of other 1960-D/D cents that have the rpm strongly shifted to the left.
