Good day Coincommunity, I was just wondering if this is wear on the Mint mark. As the coins get older, its just so hard to tell.... or is it even worth the time, still good to know.

Just took a hit on the top part of the mintmark. It is damaged on that area.

Like @coop stated, Mintmark took a hit. But still a nice 17-S cent with around 32.5 million minted.
